A chirping sound every 54-60 seconds usually indicates a low battery. Replace the battery immediately (typically a CR123A or CR2 depending on the model) to ensure continued protection.

How do I put my HEIMAN smart sensor into pairing mode?
For most HEIMAN Zigbee or WiFi sensors, use the included pin key to press and hold the reset/networking button for about 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes quickly. This activates the pairing mode for your hub or app.

What should I do if my smoke alarm triggers a false alarm?
False alarms can be caused by cooking smoke, steam, or dust. Ventilate the area to clear the air. Do not remove the battery to silence it permanently. Clean the alarm annually with a vacuum or compressed air to prevent dust buildup.

Where should I install the HEIMAN Door/Window Sensor?
Install the sensor on the fixed frame and the magnet on the moving part of the door or window. Ensure the gap between the sensor and magnet is less than 15mm-20mm when closed, and align the marker indicators on both units.
