To factory reset most Z-Wave enabled Gateman locks, touch the keypad to wake it, enter the Master Code (if set), press the Registration 'R' button inside the battery cover, then enter '9, #, 9, #' in sequence. Wait for the confirmation melody before pressing the 'R' button again.
