Installation or Setup
  • Identify input terminals (IN+ and IN-) and output terminals (OUT+ and OUT-).

  • Connect output terminals to the load or multimeter for adjustment.
  • For currents over 2A, attach an external aluminum heat sink to the LM2596 IC.

  1. Connect input terminals to a stable DC power source (4.5V to 40V).

  3. Power on the input source.
  4. Mål output voltage with a digital multimeter at OUT+ and OUT-.
  5. Juster output voltage using the blue multi-turn potentiometer:

  6. Turn off the power, disconnect the multimeter, and connect your device.
