The IKEA UTSUND is a battery-operated LED lighting chain suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it appropriate for a balcony. To set it up, follow these steps:

Batteri installation: Open the battery compartment by unscrewing the cover (Step 1). Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the markings inside (Step 2). Close the compartment and tighten the screw to ensure it is weather-sealed (Step 3).

Montering: While the manual does not provide specific balcony hardware, you can hang the chain along railings or walls. Vigtig: Always hang the product out of reach of young children due to the strangulation hazard.

Operation: The device features a built-in timer. When turned on, the lights will stay on for 6 hours and then automatically switch off. They will turn back on at the same time the following day.
