simpleABI Vascular Diagnostic Systems
simpleABI, manufactured by Newman Medical, specializes in automated computer-based systems for diagnosing peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Their advanced diagnostic equipment, such as the simpleABI Cuff-Link systems, allows healthcare providers to efficiently perform Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI), Toe-Brachial Index (TBI), and segmental exams with robust reporting capabilities.
With features like Doppler ultrasound, plethysmography (PVR), and stress testing compatibility, simpleABI systems offer non-invasive vascular testing solutions that are both reimbursable and essential for clinical vascular diagnosis.

simpleABI support FAQ
Almindelige spørgsmål om manualer, registrering og support for dette mærke.
-
How do I perform an ABI-Q exam using the simpleABI Cuff-link system?
Wrap the 10cm cuffs on each of the patient's ankles and connect the yellow hoses. Select 'New ABI-Q Report' in the desktop software, press the waveform button on the remote to automatically inflate, and instruct the patient to remain as still as possible during the reading.
-
What does it mean if the ankle pressure is above 200 mmHg during a simpleABI exam?
High ankle pressure (above 200 mmHg) may indicate that the artery is incompressible due to extreme calcification. It is recommended to proceed to an ABI with Toe (TBI) protocol for a more accurate diagnosis.
-
How do I save or print the simpleABI exam results?
When you have completed all Doppler and waveform measurements for both the right and left sides, navigate to the simpleABI computer software interface and select the option to Save or Print the exam report directly.
-
Where can I get support or repair services for simpleABI products?
You can contact the system manufacturer, Newman Medical, directly at 1-800-267-5549 for technical assistance, software support, or hardware troubleshooting regarding the simpleABI Cuff-Link systems.
