No, the NAVFS smart bird feeder only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. Make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz connection during setup, and forget any 5GHz networks temporarily to avoid priority pairing.
Before first use, fully charge the camera with a 5V/1A-2A USB adapter for 6-8 hours. After installation, connect the included solar panel using the Type-C cable to receive direct sunlight and maintain the camera battery automatically.
If Bluetooth pairing fails, use the app to add the camera by scanning a QR code. The app will generate a QR code on your phone; face it towards the bird feeder camera lens from about 10 cm away until you hear a confirmation prompt.
It is highly recommended to clean the feeder weekly. Use a microfiber cloth with a drop of rubbing alcohol for the camera lens. The seed container can be wiped with a damp cloth, while the base and other non-electronic parts can be gently rinsed with water.
