Slide the hook up and off the mounting base. Gently hold the base in place and stretch the adhesive strip slowly and straight down against the wall until it releases. Never pull the strip directly towards you.
After cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol and firmly pressing the adhesive strip and hook to the wall, you must wait at least 1 hour before hanging your items. This allows the adhesive to bond effectively.
The plastic hooks and clips are fully reusable. However, the adhesive strips are for a single use only. You can easily remount the hook elsewhere by changing out the old strip with new Command Refill Strips.
