Air-Conditioner support FAQ

Almindelige spørgsmål om manualer, registrering og support for dette mærke.

  • Why is my air conditioner running but not cooling the house immediately?

Unlike a light bulb, an air conditioner takes time to cool the home. If you turn it on when the house is already hot (e.g., 90°F), the unit must cool not just the air but also walls, furniture, and carpet, which release stored heat. It is often more efficient to maintain a moderate temperature or start cooling earlier in the day.

  • What should I check if my AC is not turning on?

Before calling for service, ensure the thermostat is set to 'Cool' and below room temperature. Check that the furnace blower panel is securely closed, circuit breakers are on, and the outdoor 220-volt switch is active. Also, inspect the air filter to ensure it is not clogged.

  • Should I run my humidifier with the air conditioner?

No. If a humidifier is installed on your furnace system, turn it off when using the air conditioning. Additional moisture can cause the cooling system to freeze up.

  • Will setting the thermostat to 60°F cool the house faster?

No. Setting the thermostat drastically lower will not cool the home any faster and can result in the unit freezing up and stopping performance completely. It is best to set it to your desired comfortable temperature.

  • How do I balance the temperature between rooms?

Temperature variations are common due to sun exposure and room usage. You can maximize airflow to occupied parts of your home by adjusting the supply vents in individual rooms.
