2. Battery Power (Backup): Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert 3x AA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Batteries serve as backup power to retain settings during power outages. Note that the display will only light up for 10 seconds when powered by batteries alone.

Press the '▲/MEM' button repeatedly to cycle through current, maximum (MAX), and minimum (MIN) temperature and humidity records for both indoor and outdoor sensors. These records are automatically reset at midnight (0:00).
