This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your POLONO D810 Portable Thermal Printer. The D810 is designed for convenient, inkless printing of documents up to US Letter (8.5"x11") and A4 sizes. It supports wireless connection via Bluetooth for mobile devices (iOS and Android) and wired USB connection for laptops and PCs. Its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for various environments, including office, home, and travel.

Opsætning

1. Opladning af printeren

Before initial use, fully charge the printer using the provided Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the printer's Type-C port and a compatible USB charging adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides power for approximately 200 sheets of printing.

The POLONO D810 printer exclusively uses thermal paper. It supports both US Letter (8.5"x11") and A4 size thermal paper, as well as thermal roll paper.

1. Ensure the side of the paper marked "This side is not printing side" faces downwards when inserting.
2. Align both ends of the paper to ensure it is straight before feeding into the paper entry slot to prevent offset printing.
3. Locate the paper size switch on the left side of the paper entry. Set it to 216 (upper position) for US Letter paper or 210 (lower position) for A4 paper.

3. Connecting to Mobile Devices (Bluetooth)

For wireless printing from iOS (13 or above) and Android devices:

1. Download the "Labelnize" app from your device's app store.

4. Connecting to Laptops/PCs (USB)

For printing from Windows or Mac laptops/PCs (Chromebooks are not supported):

2. Connect the printer to your laptop/PC using the provided USB-C cable.
3. Install the necessary drivers. Drivers can be found on the included USB drive or downloaded from the official POLONO webwebsted (polono.com).
4. Once drivers are installed, open the document you wish to print and select the D810 printer from your system's print options.

Note: PC printing requires a wired USB connection. Bluetooth printing is not supported for computers.

Operation

After successfully connecting your printer and loading paper, you can proceed with printing.

• From Mobile: Use the "Labelnize" app to select and print PDFs, Word documents, images, or web content. Ensure the paper size setting in the app matches the physical paper loaded.
• Fra pc: Open your document in any application (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Reader), select "Print," and choose "POLONO D810" as your printer. Verify print settings, including paper size, before confirming the print job.

The printer operates at a speed of approximately 20mm/s and produces clear, monochrome prints.

Rengøring af skrivehovedet

To ensure optimal print quality, regularly clean the print head.
