4. Opsætning og installation

Follow these steps to properly set up your FOTING Sand Filter Pump. Refer to the accompanying video for visual guidance.

1. Forbered basen: Attach the filter tank base to the pump base plate.
2. Install Drain Piece: Secure the drain piece at the bottom of the filter tank.
3. Insert Standpipe: Carefully insert the standpipe into the center of the filter tank.
4. Tilføj filtermedie: Fill the tank with the recommended amount of filter sand (66 lbs) or filter balls (200g included). Ensure the standpipe remains centered.

5.1 6-Way Valve Functions

The multi-port valve allows you to select different modes of operation. Always turn off the pump before changing valve positions.

• FILTER: Normal filtering mode. Water is cleaned through the filter media and returned to the pool.
• TILBAGESKYLNING: Reverses water flow to clean the filter media. Water is discharged to waste. Use when pressure gauge reads high.
• SKYLLE: Used after backwashing to flush out remaining debris from the filter media before returning to FILTER mode. Water is discharged to waste.
• SPILD: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly to waste. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris or lowering pool water level.
• LUKKET: Stops all water flow through the valve. Never use while the pump is running.
• RECIRKULER: Circulates pool water without filtering. Useful for mixing chemicals.

5.2 Timerindstillinger

The pump features a 24-hour dual-mode intelligent timing system with 10 time settings.

• Single Cycle Mode: The pump runs for a set duration once per 24-hour period.
• Continuous Cycle Mode: The pump runs continuously until manually turned off or a new timer setting is applied.
