4. Product Layout and Connections
Familiarize yourself with the ports and controls on the device:

5. Opsætning og tilslutning

5.1. 2x1 HDMI Switch Mode
In this mode, the device allows you to connect two HDMI source devices (e.g., game console, Blu-ray player) to one HDMI display (e.g., TV, monitor).
- Connect your first HDMI source device to the HDMI IN1 / eARC OUT1 havn.
- Connect your second HDMI source device to the HDMI IN2 / eARC OUT2 havn.
- Connect your HDMI display (TV/monitor) to the HDMI OUT / eARC IN havn.
- Ensure the 4th DIP switch is in the "Down" (0) position for splitter mode, or if using as a simple switch, the EDID settings should be configured for the desired audio/video output.
- Connect the USB power cable to the DC/5V port and then to a 5V USB power adapter (not included).

5.2.1. eARC Switch Mode (1-in-1-out)
In this mode, the device allows you to switch between two eARC/ARC audio devices connected to your TV's eARC/ARC output.
- Connect your TV's HDMI (eARC/ARC) port to the HDMI OUT / eARC IN porten på splitteren.
- Connect your first eARC/ARC audio device (e.g., soundbar) to the HDMI IN1 / eARC OUT1 havn.
- Connect your second eARC/ARC audio device (e.g., amplifier) til HDMI IN2 / eARC OUT2 havn.
- Ensure the 4th DIP switch is in the "Up" (1) position for eARC Switch mode.
- Connect the USB power cable to the DC/5V port and then to a 5V USB power adapter (not included).

5.2.2. eARC Splitter Mode (1-in-2-out)
In this mode, the device extracts audio from your TV's eARC/ARC port and sends it simultaneously to two separate eARC/ARC compatible audio devices.
- Connect your TV's HDMI (eARC/ARC) port to the HDMI OUT / eARC IN porten på splitteren.
- Connect your first eARC/ARC audio device (e.g., soundbar) to the HDMI IN1 / eARC OUT1 havn.
- Connect your second eARC/ARC audio device (e.g., amplifier) til HDMI IN2 / eARC OUT2 havn.

5.3. Audio Extraction (Optical, Coaxial, 3.5mm)
The device can extract audio from the HDMI source and output it via Optical, Coaxial, or 3.5mm stereo ports.
- Connect your HDMI source to either HDMI IN1 or HDMI IN2.
- Connect your audio receiver/amplifier to the desired audio output port: Optisk, Koaksial, eller R/L (3.5mm).
- Ensure your audio receiver is set to the correct input source.

6. Betjeningsvejledning
6.1. Switching HDMI Inputs (2x1 Switch Mode)
When operating in 2x1 HDMI Switch mode:
- Frontpanelknap: Press the "Select" button on the front panel to cycle between HDMI IN1 and HDMI IN2.
- Fjernbetjening: Use the corresponding input selection buttons on the IR remote control to switch between HDMI IN1 and HDMI IN2.

6.2. EDID Settings and Mode Selection
The EDID DIP switch allows you to configure the device's behavior, particularly for eARC audio and overall operation mode. The DIP switches are labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4. "Up" typically means '1' or 'ON', and "Down" means '0' or 'OFF'.

- 4th DIP Switch "Up" (1): eARC Switch Mode (1-in-1-out)
- When the 4th dial is up, it functions as an eARC switcher, allowing only one of the two eARC output ports (eARC OUT1 or eARC OUT2) to output sound. You can switch between them freely.
- 4th DIP Switch "Down" (0): eARC Splitter Mode (1-in-2-out)
- When the 4th dial is down, it works as an eARC splitter, transmitting TV sound to both eARC OUT1 and eARC OUT2 simultaneously for synchronized high-quality audio.
The first three DIP switches (1, 2, 3) are used to set specific audio EDID modes. Here are common configurations:

Important Note for ARC/eARC:
- When using the ARC feature, both the TV and audio device need to support ARC.
- When using the eARC function, the soundbar should be connected to either the eARC Out1 or eARC Out2 port.
- If the audio format is 7.1CH, the coaxial and optical ports may not output sound.

8. Fejlfinding
Hvis du støder på problemer, henvises der til følgende almindelige problemer og løsninger:
- Ingen videoudgang:
- Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected and are high-quality, certified 4K@60Hz cables.
- Verify the power adapter is connected and providing sufficient power (5V).
- Check if the correct input is selected on the switch (using the "Select" button or remote).
- Try connecting the source directly to the display to rule out cable or source issues.
- Adjust the EDID settings using the DIP switches. Sometimes, forcing a specific resolution or audio format can resolve compatibility issues.

- If using eARC Splitter mode, ensure the 4th DIP switch is "Down" (0). If using eARC Switch mode, ensure it's "Up" (1) and you've selected the correct eARC output.
- Intermittent Signal / Flickering:
- Use shorter, high-quality HDMI cables, especially for 4K@60Hz signals.
