Opsætning

1. Strømforsyning

The weather station can be powered by the included DC5V power adapter or by batteries (not included). The outdoor sensor requires batteries.

• Hovedenhed: Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) for backup power, or connect the DC5V power adapter to the main unit and a power outlet. For continuous backlight, use the power adapter.
• Udendørs sensor: Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the outdoor sensor. Ensure correct polarity.

2. Sensorplacering

Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, away from direct sunlight and precipitation, to ensure accurate readings. The wireless transmission range is up to 60 meters (200 feet) in open areas. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that may interfere with the signal.

3. Indledende synkronisering

Once both the main unit and the outdoor sensor are powered on, they will automatically attempt to synchronize. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the main unit's display within a few minutes. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.

4. Time and Date Setting (DCF Funkuhr)

The weather station features a DCF radio-controlled clock. It will automatically synchronize with the DCF signal for accurate time and date. This process may take several minutes or hours depending on your location and signal strength. Ensure the unit is placed away from electronic devices that might cause interference.

2. Vejrudsigt

The weather station provides a 12-hour weather forecast based on atmospheric pressure changes. The forecast icons represent:

• Solrig
• Let skyet
• Overskyet
• Regnfuld
• Stormfuld
• Snefyldt

3. Alarm og snooze-funktion

4. Justering af baggrundslys

The display backlight can be adjusted to multiple levels for optimal viewing in different lighting conditions. When operating on batteries only, the backlight will typically turn off after a short period to conserve power. Touch a button to temporarily illuminate the display. When powered by the adapter, the backlight can remain continuously on.
