Installation af batteri

The water meter is powered by one CR2032 button cell battery (included).

Water Meter Connection

The RAINPOINT Water Meter comes with brass inlet and outlet connections, compatible with standard garden hose fittings. It includes adapters for 1/2" and 3/4" hose connections.

1. Ensure all connections are clean and free of debris.
2. Attach the appropriate adapter (if needed) to your water source (e.g., outdoor faucet) or hose.
3. Connect the water meter's brass inlet to the water source. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection. Teflon tape can be used for extra sealing if necessary.
4. Connect your garden hose or watering accessory to the water meter's brass outlet.
5. Verify that the water flow direction aligns with the arrows on the meter for accurate readings. The meter can measure flow in both directions, and the display orientation can be adjusted.

The water meter features a digital LCD screen and two control buttons: a Direction button and a MENU button.

The device offers four distinct measurement modes:

1. Flowtilstand: Displays the real-time water flow rate (e.g., GAL/Min or L/Min).
2. Last Water Consumption: Shows the volume of water consumed during the previous watering session.
3. Total Water Consumption 1 (TOTAL 1): Accumulates the total water consumption. This mode can be reset independently.
4. Total Water Consumption 2 (TOTAL 2): Another independent accumulator for total water consumption, useful for tracking different periods or applications.

To switch between modes, briefly press the MENU button. To clear the record in TOTAL 1 or TOTAL 2 mode, long press the MENU button until the display resets.

• Rensning: Wipe the exterior of the water meter with a soft, damp klæde. Brug ikke slibende rengøringsmidler eller opløsningsmidler.
• Opbevaring: When not in use, especially during winter or freezing temperatures, remove the water meter from the hose/tap. Drain any remaining water and store it indoors in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage.

• Gasket and Filter Check: Periodically inspect the rubber gaskets and the included filter for wear or debris. Replace them if necessary to maintain a leak-free connection and accurate flow.

Important: Keep from freezing. The flow meter should be removed and stored indoors in winter seasons to avoid potential damage.
