4. Installation

4.1 Montering af frontkamera

1. Rengør forruden, hvor dashcam'et skal monteres. Sørg for, at det er fri for støv og fedt.

3. Press the suction cup firmly onto the windshield, ideally behind the rearview spejl, for at sikre at det ikke blokerer for din view. Secure the lock lever.

1. Connect the rear camera cable to the main front dash cam unit.
2. Route the rear camera cable along the vehicle's headliner and A-pillars to the rear of the vehicle. Use the included tool stick to tuck the cable neatly under trim panels.

1. Connect the Mini USB cable to the front dash cam.

5. Indledende opsætning

5.1 Indsættelse af Micro SD-kortet

Insert the included 64GB Micro SD card into the dash cam's SD card slot. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. The dash cam supports up to 256GB memory cards.

5.2 Formatting the SD Card

For optimal performance and to prevent errors, it is recommended to format the Micro SD card within the dash cam upon first use and periodically thereafter. Refer to the on-screen menu for the formatting option.

Access the system settings via the dash cam's menu to set the correct date and time. This ensures accurate timestamps on your video recordings.

6. App Connection (5G WiFi)

The Faumon M60 features built-in 5G WiFi for seamless connection to the 'Viidure' smartphone application.

1. Download the 'Viidure' app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

3. Enable WiFi on the dash cam through its menu settings.
4. On your smartphone, go to WiFi settings and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network (SSID and password will be displayed on the dash cam screen).

7. Betjeningsvejledning

7.1 Automatisk optagelse

Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. The 3-inch IPS screen will display the live view fra for- og bagkameraerne.

7.2 Loop-optagelse

Dashcam'et optager video i kontinuerlige løkker (f.eks. segmenter på 1, 2 eller 3 minutter). Locked videos (triggered by G-Sensor) are protected from being overwritten.

7.3 G-sensor (optagelse i nødstilfælde)

The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These fileer gemt i en separat mappe på SD-kortet.

When enabled, the Parking Monitor feature allows the dash cam to record for approximately 30 seconds if it detects movement or a collision while your vehicle is parked. This feature requires a hardwire kit (not included) for continuous power supply when the vehicle is off.

8. Vedligeholdelse

8.1 Rengøring af enheden

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam's body and screen. For lenses, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use chemical cleaners.

8.2 SD-kortstyring

Regularly format the Micro SD card (at least once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important files før formatering.

8.3 Temperaturhensyn

The dash cam is designed with a super capacitor to withstand extreme temperatures from -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C). It is normal for the dash cam to feel slightly warm during operation, especially in hot weather, due to its porous modeling for heat dissipation.
