3. Opsætning

The air cooler operates by evaporating water, which requires the water tank to be filled.

- Locate the water tank at the bottom rear of the unit. Gently pull it out.
- Fill the water tank with clean, cool water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the tank.
- For enhanced cooling, place the included ice packs (after freezing) into the water tank.
- Carefully slide the water tank back into its position until it is securely seated.

Placering
Place the air cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow, typically at least 20 cm from walls or furniture.
4. Betjening
Kontrolpanel og fjernbetjening
The Milex 15L Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the provided remote control. The functions are identical.

Kontrolpanelknapper:
- TIL/FRA: Tænder eller slukker for enheden.
- Hastighed: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Mid, High).
- Mode: Selects operating mode (Normal, Nature, Sleep).
- Svinge: Activates or deactivates the automatic horizontal swing function.
- Afkøle: Turns the evaporative cooling function on or off.
- Timer: Sets the operating timer (up to 7.5 hours).
Driftstilstande

Press the 'Timer' button repeatedly to set the desired operating duration in increments (e.g., 0.5h, 1h, 1.5h, up to 7.5 hours). The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

- Vandret sving: Press the 'Swing' button on the control panel or remote to activate the automatic left and right oscillation of the louvers. Press again to stop.
- Lodret justering: Manually adjust the horizontal louvers to direct the airflow up or down as desired.

The air filter should be cleaned periodically to maintain airflow and cooling efficiency.

- Locate and remove the air filter, typically found at the rear of the unit.
- Gently rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not use the unit without the filter.
Opbevaring
If the air cooler will not be used for an extended period:
- Perform a thorough cleaning of the unit, especially the water tank and filter.
- Ensure all components are completely dry.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight.
