3. Opsætning og installation
The Joie Mint Latch offers two primary installation methods: using the built-in rigid lower anchor attachments (LATCH) or using the vehicle's seat belt.
3.1. Installation with Rigid Lower Anchor Attachments (LATCH)
This method provides a quick and secure installation without the need for a separate base.
- Locate the lower anchor points in your vehicle's back seat. These are typically marked with a symbol or label.
- Extend the rigid lower anchor attachments from the car seat. There are 3 level options for adjustment; select the appropriate level for your vehicle's seat.
- Align the rigid connectors with your vehicle's lower anchor points.
- Push the car seat firmly towards the vehicle seat back until the connectors click securely onto the anchor points. Listen for an audible click to confirm engagement.
- Test the installation by pulling on the car seat at the belt path. It should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back.

3.2. Installation with Vehicle Seat Belt
This method is suitable for vehicles without lower anchor points or for use on airplanes.
