4. Opsætning

4.1 Batteriinstallation

4.2 Headset Assembly and Helmet Mounting

The EARMOR M32X headset is designed for integration with ARC rail helmet systems. Follow these steps to attach the headset to your helmet:

1. If the headset is currently configured with a headband, remove the earcups from the headband. This usually involves sliding or unclipping the earcups from the headband frame.
2. Take one of the ARC rail adapters. Align the clip gap of the adapter with the first rail slot above the helmet, then slide it towards the center of the helmet rail. Repeat this process for the other side.
3. Attach the headset earcups to the installed ARC rail adapters. Ensure they click securely into place.
4. Once mounted, adjust the headset outward, place the helmet on your head, and then adjust the headset inward to fit your ears comfortably.
5. Adjust the fit further by manipulating the headband bar (if applicable) or the adapter's pivot points so that the ear cushions fit perfectly and create a seal around your ears.
6. When finished using, grab the earcup shells on both sides and adjust the headphones outwards to move them off your ears or to a stowed position.

4.3 Montering af mikrofonen

The M32X features a detachable microphone. Insert the microphone into the designated port on either earcup until it clicks into place. Adjust the microphone boom for optimal voice pickup.

5. Betjening

5.1 Tænd/sluk og lydstyrkekontrol

Press and hold the power button on one of the earcups to turn the headset on or off. Use the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons to adjust the ambient sound amplification. There are 5 distinct volume levels.

The headset features an auto power-off function, which will turn off the device after 4 hours of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2 Noise Cancellation and Environmental Awareness

The M32X provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 22 dB, effectively suppressing harmful impulse noises above 82 dB. Simultaneously, the active listening technology amplifies ambient sounds, allowing for improved situational awareness and communication in quiet environments.

5.3 Communication (Push-To-Talk - PTT)

The M32X headset is designed with military connection capabilities for use with Push-To-Talk (PTT) systems. It is crucial to use an EARMOR PTT adapter for compatibility. Military connectors are not suitable for Element or Z-Tactical PTTs.

To determine the wiring type of a connector, use a multimeter set to the continuity tester function. The two rings on the plug that make a circuit will be EARPH+ and EARPH-.

6. Vedligeholdelse

6.1 Rengøring

7. Fejlfinding
