5. Opsætning
5.1 Batteriinstallation
The GHL210 is powered by two AA alkaline batteries, providing over 100 hours of continuous operation. To install or replace batteries:

6. Betjeningsvejledning
6.1 Tænd/sluk
- Tryk på Power knap for at tænde enheden.
- The device will automatically enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity and power off to conserve battery life.

6.2 Menunavigation
The GHL210 features a menu-style operation. Use the MENU button to access the main menu, and the Pil op/ned to navigate options. Press ENTER/SAVE to confirm a selection or DEL/ESC at forlade.
6.3 Materialevalg
Tryk på MÅTTE button to select the material type corresponding to your test piece. Accurate material selection is crucial for correct hardness conversion.
6.4 Impact Direction Setting
Tryk på DIR button to set the impact direction. The GHL210 supports 360° measurement directions, allowing for multi-angle testing. Ensure the selected direction matches the actual orientation of the impact device during measurement for accurate compensation.

6.5 Hardness Unit Selection

6.6 Udførelse af en måling
The GHL210 operates on the Leeb hardness principle, measuring the rebound of an impact body. The measurement range is 170-960 HLD.

- Ensure the test piece is stable and has a smooth, clean surface.
- Select the correct material and impact direction.
- Place the impact device firmly and perpendicularly on the test surface.
- Press the release button on the impact device to initiate the impact.
- The hardness value will be displayed on the OLED screen.
- Repeat measurements multiple times for better accuracy and average results.

The tester has an extensive data storage capacity, capable of storing up to 350 sets of measurements. Each set includes single measurement values, averages, measurement dates, impact direction, number of impacts, material, and hardness scales.

- After a measurement, press ENTER/SAVE to store the data.
- Navigate to the data storage menu (via MENU) til view or retrieve stored measurements.
- Bruge Pil op/ned to scroll through stored data.
6.8 Alarm Output Function
The alarm output function allows you to set upper and lower hardness limits. If a measurement falls outside these predefined limits, the device will provide a notification, which is particularly useful for batch testing scenarios to ensure quality control.
