Opsætning og installation
Valg af placering
For optimal protection, install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the following locations:
- Inside every sleeping room.
- Outside each separate sleeping area, in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms.
- On every level of a home, including the basement.
- Consider installing in living rooms, hallways, and kitchens.
- For carbon monoxide detection, place the unit at least 5 feet from fuel-burning appliances.
Installationstrin
- Forbered monteringsstedet: Select a suitable location on a ceiling or wall, away from corners, vents, and obstructions.
- Monter beslaget: Use the included screws and wall plugs to securely attach the mounting bracket to the chosen surface.
- Attach the Detector: Align the detector with the mounting bracket and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place. This action automatically activates the device.
- Test the Detector: After installation, press and hold the Test/Silence button to ensure the alarm sounds and the voice alerts function correctly.
Trådløs sammenkobling
To interconnect multiple SITERWELL detectors (up to 18 units):
- Sørg for, at alle enheder er tændt.
- On one unit (the master unit), press the Test/Silence button three times quickly. The unit will emit a confirmation sound.
- Within 60 seconds, press the Test/Silence button twice quickly on each additional unit you wish to interconnect. Each unit will confirm successful pairing.
- Test the interconnection by triggering an alarm on one unit. All interconnected units should sound the alarm.

Normal drift
During normal operation, the green LED indicator will flash approximately every 40 seconds, indicating the unit is powered and functioning correctly.

It is recommended to test your detector weekly:
- Press and hold the Test/Silence button for at least 3 seconds.
- The alarm will sound, and the voice alert will announce "Fire!" and "Warning, carbon monoxide!" (or French equivalent).

Silence/Hush Mode

Do Not Disturb Mode (for low battery/fault)
When the detector signals a low battery or fault (yellow LED flashing and chirping), you can activate a "Do Not Disturb" mode:
- Press the Test/Silence button once when a low battery or fault chirp occurs.
- This will silence the chirping for approximately 10 hours, preventing disturbances, especially at night.
- The yellow LED will continue to flash, indicating the underlying issue. The unit must be replaced soon.

Rengøring af din detektor
Clean your detector at least once a month to remove dust and debris:

Batterioplysninger
This detector is equipped with a sealed 10-year lithium battery. The battery is not replaceable. When the unit signals a low battery (yellow LED flashes and "Low battery" voice alert), the entire detector must be replaced immediately. The expected lifespan of the detector is 10 years from the date of manufacture.
