5. Opsætning

5.1 Udpakning og inspektion

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the pump and accessories for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, do not proceed with installation and contact customer support.

5.2 Slangetilslutning

The pump includes various adaptors, seals, and clamps to connect to different hose sizes. For optimal flow rate, it is recommended to use 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" garden hoses. The 90° connector is useful for operating in tight spaces.

1. Select the appropriate adaptor for your hose size.
2. Attach the adaptor to the pump's discharge port. Use a sealing ring to ensure a watertight connection.
3. Secure the hose to the adaptor using the provided clamps. Ensure a tight fit to prevent leaks.
4. If needed, attach the 90° connector before the adaptor for angled discharge.

5.3 Pumpeplacering

Place the pump on a stable, flat surface in the area to be drained. The detachable strainer base helps keep the pump off the bottom surface and prevents leaves and debris from entering the pump body. Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water before connecting power.

5.4 Strømtilslutning

Connect the 25ft power cord to a standard 120V AC grounded electrical outlet. For safety, ensure the outlet is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1 Automatisk drift

The VIVOHOME pump features an automatic ON/OFF switch designed to prevent dry running and protect against water shortage. The pump will:

• Start automatisk when the water level reaches approximately 4/5" (20mm).
• Stop automatically when the water level drops below approximately 2/5" (10mm).

6.2 Thermal Overload Protection

The pump is equipped with an overheating protection device to prevent damage. If the internal temperature reaches 221°F (105°C), the pump will stop operating automatically. It will resume operation once the temperature drops to 167°F (75°C) or below. This feature extends the service life of the pump and ensures user safety.

6.3 High Flow Rate

The 1/2 HP motor provides a high flow rate of up to 3200 Gallons Per Hour (GPH), making it efficient for draining large volumes of water. The pump is designed to handle water with small debris, but it is not recommended for extreme conditions with heavy garbage or mud.

7. Vedligeholdelse

7.1 Cleaning the Strainer Base

The detachable strainer base can effectively filter leaves and debris, preventing clogging. Regularly inspect and clean the strainer base to maintain optimal pump performance. To clean:
