Proper installation is critical for the safe and reliable operation of the KATOOL AK-H115Z Two Post Lift. It is recommended that installation be performed by qualified personnel.
5.1. Forberedelse af stedet
- Ensure the installation site has a level concrete floor with a minimum thickness and strength as specified in the technical documentation.
- Verify adequate overhead clearance for the lift's maximum height and the vehicles to be lifted.
- Confirm access to a 220VAC/60HZ/1PH power supply for the power unit.
5.2. Udpakning og komponentkontrol
Carefully unpack the lift components. Check the packaging for any damage or deformation before opening. Remove all accessories from the packaging and verify against the package contents list.

5.3. Column Placement and Anchoring
- Use lifting equipment to carefully stand the columns upright in their designated installation locations. Ensure precise positioning.
- For the precisely positioned column, secure it with one expansion bolt to prevent collapsing or tilting during further assembly.
- Assemble the expansion bolts by removing the pins and reattaching the nuts and washers.
- Drill holes for the expansion bolts. After fully driving the screws into the holes, insert the pins and drive them in until they bottom out. Then, tighten with a wrench.

5.4. Steel Wire and Pulley Installation
- Remove the steel wire from the column and organize it properly.
- Remove all side guards from the pulleys.
- Rotate the pulley notch to face the top surface, insert the steel wire into the pulley, and then rotate the pulley to prevent the wire from coming out.
- Install the pulley guard to prevent the steel wire from falling off.
- The direction of the steel wire threading should be consistent with the direction of the skid plate, installing from the outside to the inside.
- Repeat the process for the other side bracket.

5.5. Floor Plate and Oil Pipe Installation
- Remove the screws from the bottom of the floor plate and separate the cover plate.
- Lift the ascending slider, ensuring both sides are raised to the same height.
- Remove the bottom floor plate and install it in the recessed area of the column.
- Maintain a 3-6mm gap with the column, leaving space for the oil pipe installation.
- Move the other side of the column to the other end of the tank, taking care to retain the gap.
- Remove all pulley guards from the bottom.
- Remove the top nut and washer from the steel wire.
- Thread downward from the yellow hole inward. Ensure it is on the same side as the front end of the steel wire.
- Turn the pulley notch towards the bottom. Insert the steel wire into the pulley groove and install the guard (if the wire cannot be inserted, you can slightly move the cylinder to create a gap).
- Guide the steel wire along both sides of the oil trough to the other side.
- Rotate the pulley notch towards the bottom.
- Thread upward into the yellow hole.
- Insert the screw rod into the reserved hole position, and install the washer and nuts (one washer, two nuts).
- Remove the oil pipe protective cap and connect it to the cylinder.
- Adjust the direction of the oil hose, guide it downward along the groove towards the other side pillar, and tighten it with a wrench.
- Place the cover plate on and tighten the screws.
5.6. Power Unit and Hydraulic Connections
- Install the power unit: first adjust the screw depth on the main frame, then hang the power unit on the bracket and tighten the screws.
- Connect the electrical wiring: Live Wire (brown), Neutral Wire (blue), Ground Wire (yellow/green).
- Swap the interfaces and plugs on both sides of the power unit, making sure to keep the washers.
- Remove the oil pipe plug from the side of the main column, remove the dust cap from the oil pipe, and connect the oil outlet of the power unit to the oil pipe connector of the main frame.
- Add hydraulic oil to the reservoir, but do not exceed the maximum level mark.

5.7. Arm Installation and Adjustment
- Remove the spring retainer from the bottom of the pin and take out the pin.
- Install the lifting arms, paying attention to the direction: the rear side has two-section lifting arms, and the front side has three-section lifting arms, consistent with the direction of the power unit and the front of the vehicle.
- Insert the pin. If the pin gets stuck, wiggle the gear lock and slightly wiggle the lifting arm.
- After inserting the pin, install the spring retainer (kapring).
- Remove the spring retainer from the bottom of the tray and install it in the front hole of the bracket, ensuring that the notch fits with the block.
- Use the height adjustment pads depending on the height of the car's chassis.
- Install the height increase pad bracket.

5.8. Tension Adjustment and Final Check
- Adjust the tension of the reinforcement bars on both sides: loosen the screws at the top, use a pry bar to lift them, and tighten the screws at the bottom until both sides are balanced. Then, lock both screws.
- When the car lift moves upward and a "click" sound is heard simultaneously, it indicates that the force on both sides is even, and the safety device is locked into place.
6. Betjeningsvejledning
6.1. Preparing the Vehicle
- Position the vehicle centrally between the lift columns.
- Ensure the vehicle's weight is within the lift's capacity.
- Locate the manufacturer's recommended lifting points on the vehicle chassis.
- Adjust the lift arms to extend and retract to align with the vehicle's lifting points. Use the height adjustment pads and extensions as needed.
