The KW-Trio Circe Rotary Circle Cutter is a versatile tool designed for paper crafting and various office needs. It allows for precise circular cuts with an adjustable diameter range, making it suitable for both small and large projects. 2. Opsætning

Before first use, familiarize yourself with the cutter's components and adjust it to your desired cutting diameter.

1. Adjusting Cutting Diameter: The cutter features an adjustable diameter ranging from 3 inches (8 cm) to 12.6 inches (32 cm). To set the desired size, unscrew the knob located on the ruler arm, slide it to the corresponding measurement on the clear scale, and then securely lock the knob in place.

2. Visible Center of Circle: The transparent top of the handle and cross-positioning points on the bottom allow for easy visual location of the center of the circle. This feature ensures accurate placement for your cuts.

3. Bladbeskyttelse: Ensure the blade protective sheath is removed before use. Reattach it when the tool is not in use for safety.

3. Betjeningsvejledning

Follow these steps for effective and precise cutting:

1. Forbered dit materiale: Place the material you wish to cut on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is free from obstructions.
2. Set Diameter: Adjust the cutting diameter as described in the Setup section.

4. Udfør snittet: Apply gentle, even pressure to the center handle and rotate the cutter clockwise or counter-clockwise until a complete circle is cut. For thicker materials, multiple passes with light pressure may be required.
5. Angle Scale Usage: The integrated angle scale allows for cutting semicircles and angle rings. Align the desired angle on the scale with your starting point and rotate accordingly.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your Circe Rotary Circle Cutter.

• Udskiftning af knive: The stainless steel blade is detachable and replaceable. To replace the blade, remove the blade holder limit nut and positioning indicator block. Carefully replace the blade in the correct direction, then reinstall the positioning indicator block and limit nut. Replacement blades are sold separately.

• Rensning: Wipe the cutter with a dry, soft cloth after each use to remove any paper dust or debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Opbevaring: Always cover the blade with its protective sheath when not in use. Store the cutter in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Fejlfinding

If you encounter issues with your Circe Rotary Circle Cutter, consider the following:

• Cutter Not Cutting Cleanly:
  • Ensure the blade is sharp. If dull, replace it as per the Maintenance section.
  • Verify that sufficient, even pressure is applied during rotation.
  • Check the material thickness. Very thick or dense materials may require multiple light passes.
  • Ensure the material is placed on a firm, flat cutting surface.

  • Confirm the knob is securely locked at the desired measurement on the ruler.
  • Ensure the center point is accurately positioned and held steady throughout the cut.
