• Høj alarm: The 120dB siren is extremely loud. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sound, especially during setup or testing, to prevent hearing discomfort.

4. Produktet er slutview

Each AKOYU window alarm consists of two main parts: the main alarm unit and a smaller magnetic strip. The main unit houses the siren, battery compartment, and control switches. The magnetic strip works in conjunction with the main unit to detect opening and closing.

4.1 Komponenter

5. Opsætning

5.1 Batteriinstallation

Each alarm unit requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the main alarm unit.

5.2 Alarm Installation

2. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the back of the main alarm unit.
3. Adhere the main alarm unit to the desired location on the door or window frame.
4. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the back of the magnetic strip.
5. Align the magnetic strip with the main alarm unit. The two parts must be placed within 0.39 inches (1 cm) of each other when the door/window is closed. Ensure the alignment marks (arrows or lines) on both parts are facing each other.
6. Adhere the magnetic strip to the moving part of the door or window, directly opposite the main alarm unit.
7. Test the installation by opening and closing the door/window to ensure the alarm triggers correctly.

6. Driftstilstande

The AKOYU window alarm features four distinct operating modes, selectable via the 'Set' button. To change modes, ensure the alarm is powered on, then press the 'Set' button repeatedly until you hear the desired mode's confirmation sound.

• Intruder Alarm Mode: When the door/window opens, the 120dB siren will sound continuously for 1 minute. This mode is ideal for security.
