Opsætning

Follow these steps to set up your Brio water cooler:

1. Cooler Placement

   Remove the water cooler from its packaging. Place the cooler on a flat, shaded surface, ensuring it is near a grounded wall outlet. Allow at least 8 inches of clearance from walls to ensure proper airflow for the unit's cooling system.

   Slide the drip tray and its grid into the designated slot below the dispensing area.

2. Connecting to a Cold Water Supply

   First, turn off the cold water supply to the area where you will install the cooler. Disconnect the existing pipe from the cold water supply line. Wrap plumber's tape around the threads of the cold water supply line and the feed water adapter. Connect the feed water adapter to the cold water supply line.

   Insert the water inlet tube into the quick connector of the feed water adapter and tighten it securely. Ensure all connections are leak-free.

3. Skylning af filtrene

   Before installing the filters into the cooler, they must be flushed. Connect the filter housing to each filter by twisting clockwise. Connect the tip of the water inlet tube to the left side of the housing and the filter flushing tube to the right side.

   Place the open end of the flushing tube over a sink or bucket and turn on the water. Flush each filter until the water runs clear. Once flushed, remove the filter housing from the tube. Repeat this process for all filters.

   Open the cabinet door of the cooler. Locate the filter housings inside and twist each flushed filter into place. On the back of your cooler, find and remove the safety plug. Insert the water inlet tube into this opening.

   Turn on the main water supply. Plug in the cooler to a grounded wall outlet. Place a cup under the dispensing taps and press the hot, room temperature, and cold buttons until water dispenses steadily from each. This purges air from the system.

   Finally, locate the red heating and green cooling control switches on the back of your cooler and switch both to the 'ON' position. Your cooler is now ready for use.

Operating Your Water Cooler

Your Brio water cooler offers three temperature options for your convenience:

• Varmt vand: Ideal for instant coffee, tea, or soups.
• Rumtemperatur vand: Perfect for drinking at a comfortable temperature.
• Koldt vand: Refreshing and crisp, suitable for immediate hydration.

To dispense water, place your cup under the desired tap and press the corresponding button. For hot water, ensure you engage the child safety lock by sliding the red lever before pressing the hot water button. This two-step dispense lock on the hot-water spout ensures the safety of you and your loved ones.

• Self-Cleaning (UV-CARE)

  Your Brio water cooler features an automated UV-CARE disinfecting device that automatically sanitizes the internal tanks and water lines. This powerful UV light effectively kills 99.99% of disease-causing microbes, reducing harmful contaminants and improving water taste without chemical residue.   2-ernetage filters are crucial for eradicating major contaminants and removing undesirable tastes, odors, and colors from your water. Filters should be replaced periodically based on water usage and quality. For replacement filters, search for “Brio MIB200PKF" 2-Stage Filter Replacement Kit.

  To replace filters, turn off the water supply to the unit and unplug it. Open the cabinet door, twist the old filters counter-clockwise to remove them. Insert new, flushed filters by twisting clockwise until secure. Close the cabinet door, turn on the water supply, and plug in the unit. Flush the system as described in the setup section.

  Regularly empty and clean the drip tray to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene. The drip tray and grid can be easily removed for cleaning with mild soap and water.
