Opsætning og installation
To install a new sticky card into your BURLAN Flying Insect Trap:
- Ensure the insect trap device is unplugged from the power outlet before handling.
- Locate the existing sticky card slot on the trap. If a used card is present, gently pull it out. You may use needle-nose pliers to avoid touching the adhesive.
- Take a new BURLAN Sticky Card. Carefully peel off the protective paper from the adhesive surface.
- Observe the directional arrows on the sticky card. The side marked "This side faces the lamp" should be oriented towards the light source of the trap. The arrow indicating "This direction is down" should point downwards when inserted.
- Slide the new sticky card into the designated slot on the insect trap until it is securely in place. When replacing a card, lift the plate upward to remove the old card and insert the new one.
- Plug the insect trap back into a power outlet.

BURLAN Sticky Cards work in conjunction with your BURLAN Flying Insect Trap. Once installed, the trap's UV light attracts flying insects, which then become stuck to the adhesive surface of the card.
- For optimal trapping effect, ensure all indoor doors, windows, and other lights are closed or off, making the trap's light source the primary attraction.
- It is recommended to keep people away from the immediate vicinity of the trap for at least 12 hours, preferably 2 to 3 days, to maximize insect attraction.
- To potentially enhance attraction, you may place a transparent bottle containing 200ml of water, 20g of sugar, and 10g of baking soda near the trap.

- Inspect the sticky card regularly.
- Replace the sticky card when it is full of insects or approximately every 20-30 days, whichever comes first.
