5. Opsætning
5.1 Placering af ladestation
Place the charging dock on a hard, flat surface near a wall. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3.3 feet) of clearance in front and above the dock for optimal robot maneuverability. Center placement within a room is recommended for the best coverage.
5.2 Indledende opladning
Connect the power cable to the charging dock and plug it into a power outlet. Place the robot onto the charging dock to begin initial charging. Ensure the robot is fully charged before its first use.
5.3 App Connection (2.4G WiFi Required)
The Roborock S8 robot vacuum only supports 2.4G WiFi networks. To ensure a successful network connection, it is recommended to switch your router to 2.4G WiFi during the setup process, if it supports both 2.4G and 5G bands. Download the Roborock app from your smartphone's app store and follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot.

7. Vedligeholdelse

7.1 Rengøring af støvbeholder og filter
Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle. Clean the filter regularly by tapping out debris or rinsing it with water (allow to air dry completely before reinserting).
7.2 Rengøring af hovedbørste og sidebørste
Remove and clean the main DuoRoller brushes regularly to remove tangled hair and debris. Use the cleaning tool provided. Clean the side brush to ensure it rotates freely.
7.3 Mop Cloth and Water Tank Maintenance
Remove and wash the mop cloth after each mopping session. Empty and rinse the VibraWash water tank regularly to prevent mold or odor buildup. Use only water or Roborock-approved cleaning solutions in the water tank.
7.4 Sensorrensning
Wipe all sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensors, LiDAR sensor window) with a soft, dry cloth to ensure accurate navigation and obstacle detection.
