Operating Instructions: Flat Tire Repair

Step 1: Locate and Prepare the Puncture

2. Using the provided pliers, carefully remove the foreign object (nail, screw, etc.) from the tire.
3. Insert the T-handle reamer tool into the puncture. Work the reamer tool in and out of the hole several times to clean and enlarge the puncture to the appropriate size for the repair plug. Ensure the hole is clean and free of debris.

Step 2: Prepare the Repair Plug

1. Take one heavy duty black tire string (repair plug) from the kit.
2. Apply a generous amount of Plug Bond (rubber cement) to the entire surface of the repair plug. This helps create a strong seal.
3. Thread the lubricated repair plug halfway through the eye of the T-handle plugger tool.

Step 3: Insert the Repair Plug

1. Firmly push the T-handle plugger tool, with the repair plug, into the prepared puncture until approximately 1/2 inch of the plug is visible outside the tire.
2. Quickly pull the plugger tool straight out of the tire, leaving the repair plug securely in place. Do not twist the tool during removal.
