4. Opsætning og montering

4.1 Bar and Chain Assembly

2. Remove the side cover nuts and the side cover.
3. Place the guide bar onto the studs, ensuring the chain tensioner pin aligns with the hole in the bar.
4. Carefully fit the chain around the sprocket and into the groove of the guide bar. Ensure the cutting edges of the chain are facing the correct direction (refer to chain direction indicator on the bar).

4.2 Tilberedning af brændstof og olie

• Kædeolie: Fill the chain oil tank with good quality chain lubricant. The chain oil tank capacity is 260ml. This oil automatically lubricates the chain and bar during operation.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1 Start af motorsaven

Cold Start Procedure:

1. Placer motorsaven på en fast, flad overflade.

3. Pull out the choke knob fully.
4. Tryk flere gange på primerpumpen, indtil brændstoffet er synligt i returledningen.

6. Push the choke knob halfway in.

8. Allow the engine to warm up for a few seconds, then disengage the chain brake by pulling the front hand guard back.

Warm Start Procedure:

2. Pull the starter cord firmly and steadily until the engine starts. No choke or priming is usually needed.
3. Disengage the chain brake once the engine is running smoothly.

5.2 Justering af kædespænding

Correct chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. The chain should be snug against the guide bar, but still able to be pulled around by hand with light effort.

1. Loosen the side cover nuts slightly.
2. Use the tensioning screw (usually located on the side cover or near the bar studs) to adjust the chain tension. Turn clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen.
