4. Opsætning

Follow these steps to prepare your Scheppach ACS4000 for operation.

4.1 Unpacking and Assembly:

  1. Fjern forsigtigt alle komponenter fra emballagen.
  2. Assemble the main unit according to the diagrams in the separate assembly guide (if provided). Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Connect the 9-meter spray hose to the main unit and the spray gun. Tighten connections firmly.
  4. Attach the suction hose with the filter tip to the main unit.

4.2 Preparing the Paint:

  1. Ensure the paint is suitable for airless spray systems. Refer to the paint manufacturer's instructions for thinning recommendations.
  2. Rør malingen grundigt.
  3. Place the suction hose directly into the paint bucket. Ensure the filter tip is fully submerged.

4.3 Nozzle Selection:

The system includes two nozzles for different material viscosities:

  • Dyse 311: For thin materials (water-dilutable and solvent-based glazes, lacquers, or oils).

5. Betjeningsvejledning

Understand the operational modes and pressure settings for effective spraying.

5.1 Powering On and Priming:

  1. Tilslut netledningen til en jordet stikkontakt.
  2. Set the function switch to the "Prime" mode. This mode is used to pre-fill the paint and relieve pressure.
  3. Allow the system to draw paint until it flows smoothly through the return hose into the paint bucket.
  4. Once primed, switch the function to "Spray" mode.

5.2 Adjusting Pressure:

The working pressure can be adjusted in 5 levels using the pressure regulator dial.

  1. Start with a lower pressure setting and gradually increase until the desired spray pattern is achieved.
  2. Higher viscosity paints typically require higher pressure settings.

5.3 Sprøjteteknik:

  • Hold the spray gun perpendicular to the surface, maintaining a consistent distance (typically 25-30 cm).
  • Move the gun in smooth, even strokes, overlapping each pass by about 50%.
  • Release the trigger at the end of each stroke to avoid paint buildup.
  • Utilize the trigger lock function for extended spraying periods to reduce fatigue.

  2. Skyllesystem: Remove the suction hose from the paint and place it into a bucket of appropriate cleaning solution (water for water-based paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints).
  3. Circulate Cleaner: Turn the unit on and spray the cleaning solution into a waste container until it runs clear.
  4. Rengøring af komponenter: Disassemble the nozzle, filter, and spray gun tip. Clean them thoroughly with the appropriate cleaning solution and a brush.
  5. Tør ned: Wipe the exterior of the unit and hoses with a damp klæde.
