A 64GB memory card is pre-inserted into the dash camera. Before first use, it is crucial to format the card within the dash cam's settings. Navigate to the 'Format' option in the dash cam menu and confirm. Regular formatting (approximately once a month) is recommended, especially if parking monitor and G-sensor functions are frequently used, to prevent an accumulation of locked files.

For optimal performance, the dash camera should always be connected to your car's cigarette lighter port using the original car charger. The internal battery is primarily for emergency recording during parking mode and does not support continuous operation. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your car starts.

Installation

Bagkamera: The rear camera is designed to be mounted at the back of your vehicle. For the reverse function to work, connect the red wire of the rear camera cable to the positive pole of your car's reversing light. This will enable the dash cam to display reversing aid lines when you shift into reverse.

App Control & Wi-Fi Connection

The Milerong A26W dash cam features built-in Wi-Fi for convenient control and access to recordings via the 'Viidure' app. This allows for real-time video viewing, playback, downloading, and editing directly from your smartphone.

1. Download the 'Viidure' app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS).
2. Turn on your Milerong dash cam.
3. On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the device's Wi-Fi network (usually named 'CVR_xxxxx').
4. Enter the default password 'xxxxxxxx'.
5. Once connected, open the 'Viidure' app to configure settings and manage videos.

Note: The effective Wi-Fi distance is 3-5 meters. The dash cam's Wi-Fi is for data transmission and settings control only; it does not provide internet access. The dash cam will continue recording even if the Wi-Fi connection to your phone is lost.

The dash cam continuously records video in segments (1, 2, or 5 minutes, configurable in settings). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked video files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without the need for manual deletion. Locked files (triggered by G-sensor) are protected from being overwritten.

G-sensor funktion

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When a significant shock is detected, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to a protected folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical incident footage is preserved as evidence.

Parkeringsmonitor

When the vehicle is parked and the dash cam powers off, the parking monitor function keeps the device in standby mode. If the dash cam detects a shock or collision, it will automatically power on, record a 15-second video, and then shut down. This provides evidence for incidents occurring while your car is parked. For 24-hour parking monitoring, a separate hardwire kit is required (not included).

The Milerong A26W dash cam is equipped with Super Night Vision capabilities, featuring an F1.8 large aperture lens and advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and High Dynamic Range (HDR) technologies. These features work together to ensure clear and detailed recordings in low-light conditions, accurately capturing important details both day and night.
