The GASTROBACK #42722 Design Espresso Piccolo Pro M is a portafilter espresso machine designed for preparing espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato with an integrated automatic milk frother.

3. Opsætning

Before first use or after extended periods of inactivity, the system must be primed to ensure proper water flow.

  3. Press the On/Off button to power on the machine. The buttons will flash during heating.
  4. Once the machine is heated (buttons stop flashing), press the Espresso button. Water will flow out. Let it run for approximately 30 seconds.
  5. Repeat this process for the milk frother by attaching the milk container (filled with water) and pressing the Cappuccino or Latte button for 30 seconds.

  1. Ensure the machine is powered on and heated (buttons are steadily lit).
  2. Insert the desired filter insert (1-cup or 2-cup) into the portafilter. For E.S.E. pads, use the dedicated E.S.E. pad insert.

4.2 Making Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato

The integrated automatic milk frother can froth various types of milk and milk alternatives.

  1. Sørg for, at maskinen er tændt og opvarmet.
  2. Fill the removable milk container with cold milk or milk alternative. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  3. Attach the milk container to the machine. Ensure the frothing nozzle is positioned over your cup.

  5. Prepare your espresso shot as described in section 4.1, but place a larger cup or glass under the frothing nozzle and portafilter.
  6. For Cappuccino, press the Cappuccino button. For Latte Macchiato, press the Latte knap.
  7. The machine will automatically dispense frothed milk and then espresso into your cup.
  8. The process will stop automatically.
