The Weytoll 5000W Battery Spot Welder is designed for efficient spot welding of 0.1mm to 0.15mm nickel sheets onto various battery types, including 18650, 26650, and 32650 cells. It features a compact design, adjustable output power, and a digital display for monitoring battery voltage.

Opsætning

1. Oplad enheden: Before initial use, fully charge the spot welder using the provided power adapter. Connect the adapter to the charging interface on the unit and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete. Ensure the battery voltage displayed on the unit is above 7.3V for optimal performance.
2. Connect svejsepenne: Insert the connectors of the spot welding pens into the designated interfaces on the front panel of the spot welder. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Tilslut fodpedal: Plug the foot pedal switch into the foot interface on the front panel.
4. Forbered arbejdsområde: Place the spot welder on a stable, non-conductive surface. Ensure adequate lighting and ventilation.

Betjeningsvejledning

1. Tænd: Turn the power knob clockwise to power on the device. The LED indicator will light up, and the digital display will show the current battery voltage.
2. Juster udgangseffekt: Rotate the power adjustment knob to select the desired output power level (1-10 gears). Start with a lower setting (e.g., 5-7) and test on a scrap piece of nickel strip to determine the optimal setting for your specific material thickness and battery type. Higher numbers indicate higher output power.
3. Forbered materialer: Ensure the nickel sheet and battery terminals are clean and free of oxidation. Place the nickel sheet firmly onto the battery terminal where the weld is to be made.

   • Hold the two welding pens firmly, ensuring the tips are clean and sharp.
   • Place the tips of the two welding pens onto the nickel sheet, directly over the desired welding point. Apply firm, even pressure.
   • Press and hold the foot pedal switch. The red indicator light on the unit will flash quickly three times.
   • After the third flash, the current will be output, and the welding process will be completed. Release the foot pedal.
5. Inspektion af svejsning: Carefully inspect the welded joint. A good weld should be firm and not easily pulled apart. Adjust the power setting if the weld is too weak or too strong.
6. Sluk: After use, turn the power knob counter-clockwise to power off the device.

• Rensning: Regularly clean the welding pen tips with fine-grit sandpaper or a wire brush to remove any residue and ensure good electrical contact. Wipe the main unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Opbevaring: Store the spot welder and its accessories in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Batteripleje: If the device will not be used for an extended period, charge it periodically to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for prolonged periods.
• Kabelinspektion: Periodically check all cables and connections for signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately.
