Opsætning

1. Første opladning

Before first use, connect the keyboard to a USB power source using the provided USB-A to USB-C cable. The keyboard features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. The Cherry icon on the top right corner indicates battery status: green for full, yellow for medium, and red for low.

2. Tilslutningsmuligheder

The keyboard offers four transmission channels for multi-device functionality:

• F1: 2.4 GHz Wireless - For connection via the included USB dongle.
• F2 + F3: Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy - For connecting to two separate Bluetooth-enabled devices.
• F4: Corded Channel - For direct connection via the USB-C cable, which also charges the keyboard.

To switch between channels, press the FN key simultaneously with the corresponding function key (F1, F2, F3, or F4). The status keys (F1-F4) will illuminate to indicate the active connection.

3. Tilslutning til enheder

2.4 GHz trådløst: Insert the USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard should automatically connect to the dongle when F1 channel is selected.

Bluetooth:

1. Skriveerfaring

The Cherry KW X ULP keyboard features CHERRY MX Ultra Low Profile switches, providing a tactile and responsive typing experience. These switches are designed for durability, rated for up to 50 million keystrokes per key.

2. Function Keys and Illumination

The keyboard includes white illumination for all keys, with additional color LEDs for status keys such as Caps Lock, Num Lock, and the connection indicators (F1-F4). The function keys (F1-F12) are defaulted to media control/shortcut functionality. To use the standard F1-F12 functions, hold down the FN nøgle.

To toggle the default behavior of the function keys (i.e., to make F-keys primary and media keys secondary without holding FN), press FN + CTRL simultaneously. This will swap the primary function of the F-keys.

1. Rensning

To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources and devices. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard or using abrasive cleaners. For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
