Indledning

The Lockly Secure Pro Deadbolt is an advanced Wi-Fi smart lock designed to provide high security and convenience for homes, offices, and rental properties. It offers multiple access methods including a patented PIN Genie® digital keypad, a 3D biometric fingerprint sensor, smartphone app control, voice control, and traditional physical keys. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.

Opsætning

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and security of your Lockly Secure Pro. Please follow these steps carefully.

1. Kontroller før installation

2. Juster deadbolt og installer

The deadbolt ships with a default backset of 2-3/4 inches. If your door requires a 2-3/8 inch backset, adjust the deadbolt length accordingly. Ensure the deadbolt slot aligns to the center of the door hole. Attach the deadbolt into the door using the provided screws.

3. Klargør låsen til installation

Secure the upper portion of the lockset using the double-sided adhesive tape. For added stability, optional fasteners can be used if your door is prepared with corresponding holes. If not, a drill may be required to create these holes, referring to the provided template for drilling dimensions. Install the slotted barrel extension to the exterior assembly and securely tighten.

Ensure the torque blade is in the vertical position. Place the exterior assembly and torque blade through the deadbolt slot. Guide the connection cables through the cross bore hole under the deadbolt. Align and secure the exterior assembly until it is flush with the door surface.

5. Prepare Door Sensor for Installation

The wired door sensor and sensor magnet should be installed on the door frame and door, respectively. The distance between them must be less than 3/4 inch (19mm). If the door frame is higher than the door, use the included foam pads to level the parts. Note that if the sensor is not installed or is removed, some features like real-time condition status will not be available.

6. Installer den indvendige enhed

With adhesive strips, align and secure the mounting plate. Guide the connection cable through the lower left notched hole. Insert and hand-tighten the two screws located on the left and right of the blade. Ensure the thumb turn is vertical. Place the interior assembly against the mounting plate, making sure the torque blade is inserted into the thumb turn shaft. Secure the interior assembly to the mounting plate with the two provided screws.

7. Installer batterier

With the door open and the deadbolt fully extended, insert three AA alkaline batteries into the interior assembly. Press and hold the program button, then insert the fourth battery. The lock will automatically start a self-check. Release the program button once the self-check begins. If the lock is not properly installed, it will open and close repeatedly. Once the self-check completes, manually lock and unlock the door using the thumb turn on the interior assembly to ensure smooth operation without binding or rubbing.

8. Installer dørslag

Use the supplied door strike or your existing one, provided the deadbolt operates smoothly without binding or catching. Secure the door strike to the door frame.

The Lockly Secure Pro offers multiple convenient ways to access your property.

1. PIN Genie® Keypad

The patented peek-proof PIN Genie® keypad features four virtual buttons, each containing three different numbers. The location of these numbers shuffles after each use, making it impossible for someone to guess your code by observing smudge patterns. Simply enter your personal access code using the dynamic keypad.

2. 3D Biometric Fingerprint Sensor

The advanced 3D biometric fingerprint sensor recognizes fingerprints in 0.3 seconds and unlocks in 0.5 seconds. It can store up to 99 fingerprints for quick and easy access. Simply place your registered finger on the sensor for instant unlocking.

3. Styring af smartphone-app

Manage your Lockly Secure Pro from anywhere using the Lockly app. You can remotely lock and unlock your door, grant offline access codes for specific time periods without Wi-Fi, and monitor the status of your smart lock with real-time alerts sent to your smartphone.

4. Stemmekontrol

The Lockly Secure Pro is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing you to unlock, lock, or check the door status using voice commands.

5. Fysisk nøgle

For traditional access or in case of power failure, the Lockly Secure Pro includes physical keys. The rekeying capability allows you to replace the key cylinder without changing the entire lock (with a standard rekey kit).

Opretholdelse

• Rensning: Brug en blød, damp cloth to clean the lock's exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
• Udskiftning af batteri: The lock will provide low battery alerts. Replace all four AA alkaline batteries simultaneously to ensure consistent power. Refer to the 'Install Batteries' section in Setup for detailed steps.
• Deadbolt-betjening: Periodically check that the deadbolt extends and retracts smoothly without any binding or rubbing. If issues arise, re-check the installation alignment.

Fejlfinding

• Tastaturlås: The PIN Genie keypad will disable access after three multiple failed attempts to prevent unauthorized entry. Wait for the lockout period to expire or use another access method (fingerprint, app, physical key).
• Deadbolt Not Operating Smoothly: This often indicates an alignment issue during installation. Re-check the deadbolt and mounting plate alignment. Ensure no wires are pinched.
• Forbindelsesproblemer (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth): Ensure your Secure Link Wi-Fi Hub is properly connected and within range. Check your home Wi-Fi network. Restarting the lock (by temporarily removing batteries) and the Wi-Fi hub can resolve minor connectivity glitches.
• Fingeraftrykssensoren reagerer ikke: Sørg for, at din finger er ren og tør. Registrer dit fingeraftryk igen, hvis problemet fortsætter.
