1. Introduktion

Tak for købetasing the SHARP XL-B512 Micro Component System. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your audio system. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

Hovedenhedskontroller og porte:

• Power knap: Tænder eller slukker for enheden.
• Lydstyrkeknap: Justerer masterlydstyrkeniveauet.
• Vise: Shows current mode, track information, and time.

5. Opsætning

Follow these steps for initial setup of your micro component system:

1. Højttalerforbindelse: Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
2. FM-antennetilslutning: If included, connect the FM antenna to the FM antenna jack on the rear of the main unit for improved radio reception. Extend the antenna fully for best results.
3. Strømtilslutning: Plug the power cord into the AC IN socket on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard AC wall outlet (120V ~ 60Hz).
4. Placering: Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. For optimal stereo sound, position the speakers equidistant from the listening area and spaced apart.

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1. Tænd/sluk

Tryk på MAGT knappen på frontpanelet eller fjernbetjeningen for at tænde eller slukke enheden.

6.2. Betjening af cd-afspilleren

1. Tryk på MODE/FUNKTION button to select 'CD' mode.
2. Tryk på ÅBN/LUK knappen for at åbne CD-skuffen.
3. Place a CD (audio CD, MP3 CD, CD-R, CD-RW) with the label side up into the tray.
4. Tryk på ÅBN/LUK button again to close the tray. The unit will begin reading the disc.
5. Trykke AFSPIL/PAUSE for at starte eller sætte afspilningen på pause.
6. Bruge SKIP/SØG knapper til at navigere i spor.

6.3. Bluetooth-streaming

1. Tryk på MODE/FUNKTION button to select 'Bluetooth' mode. The display will show 'BT' and flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
2. Aktiver Bluetooth på din Bluetooth-aktiverede enhed (smartphone, tablet osv.) og søg efter tilgængelige enheder.
3. Select 'SHARP XL-B512' from the list. Once paired, the 'BT' indicator will stop flashing.
4. You can now play audio from your device through the XL-B512 system. Use your device or the system's controls for playback.

6.4. USB-afspilning

1. Indsæt et USB-flashdrev med MP3-lyd files i USB-porten på frontpanelet.
2. Tryk på MODE/FUNKTION button to select 'USB' mode.
3. The unit will automatically begin playing the first compatible audio file.
4. Bruge AFSPIL/PAUSE og SKIP/SØG knapper til at styre afspilning.

6.5. FM-radioindstilling

1. Tryk på MODE/FUNKTION button to select 'FM' mode.
2. Tryk og hold på SKIP/SØG knapperne for automatisk at scanne efter den næste tilgængelige station.
3. Press briefly to manually tune step-by-step.
4. For at gemme en station skal du trykke på PROG/MEM button, use SKIP/SØG for at vælge et forudindstillet nummer, og tryk derefter på PROG/MEM igen for at bekræfte.

6.6. Aux-indgang (AUX)

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
2. Tryk på MODE/FUNKTION button to select 'AUX' mode.
3. Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the XL-B512 speakers.

6.7. Brug af fjernbetjening

The included remote control provides full functionality for your system.

Ensure the remote control is pointed directly at the main unit's sensor. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control, observing correct polarity.

6.8. Lydjusteringer

• Bind: Rotate the volume knob on the main unit or use the VOL +/- knapper på fjernbetjeningen.
• Lydstyrkekontrol: Tryk på HØJT button on the remote to enhance bass and treble at low volume levels. Press again to deactivate.
• Equalizer (EQ): Tryk på EQ button on the remote to cycle through preset equalizer modes (e.g., Flat, Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz).

7. Vedligeholdelse

Proper care ensures the longevity of your system:

• Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen the cloth with a mild detergent solution and wipe gently. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• CD-pleje: Hold cd'er i kanterne. Rengør snavsede cd'er med en blød, fnugfri klud, og tør af fra midten og udad.
• Opbevaring: When not in use for extended periods, unplug the unit from the power outlet. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
