3. Opsætning

3.1 Pakkens indhold

3.2 Første opstart og konfiguration

1. Oplad enheden: Connect the Type-C charging cable to the S800 and a suitable power adapter. Allow the device to charge fully before first use.
2. Tænd: Press and hold the power button until the KINGBOLEN logo appears on the screen.
3. Sprogvalg: Følg vejledningen på skærmen for at vælge dit foretrukne sprog blandt de 20 tilgængelige muligheder.
4. Wi-Fi-forbindelse: Connect the device to a stable Wi-Fi network to enable software updates and online features. Navigate to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" and select your network.

4.1 Tilslutning til et køretøj

2. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the "ON" position (engine off or running, depending on the diagnostic task).
3. Connect the OBD2 diagnostic cable to the vehicle's OBD2 port and then to the KINGBOLEN S800 device.
4. The device will automatically establish communication with the vehicle.

4.2 Diagnostiske funktioner

From the main menu, select "Diagnosis" to access vehicle-specific diagnostic functions.

• AutoVIN Scan: Select this option for automatic vehicle identification. This streamlines the diagnostic process by quickly retrieving vehicle information.
• Manuelt valg: If AutoVIN fails or you prefer manual selection, choose the vehicle make, model, and year from the list.
• Systemscanning: Once the vehicle is identified, select "System Scan" to perform a comprehensive scan of all supported systems (Engine, ABS, SRS, Transmission).
• Læs koder: Displays current, pending, and historic Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
• Ryd koder: Erases DTCs from the vehicle's computer. Ensure all necessary repairs are completed before clearing codes.
• Live datastrøm: View real-time data parameters from various sensors and components. This can be displayed in text, graph, or gauge format. The S800 supports 4-in-1 live data streaming for comparative analysis.

4.3 Special Service Functions

From the main menu, select "Maintenance" to access the 15 special service functions. Each function requires specific steps and conditions to be met. Refer to the on-screen instructions for each service.

• Olie nulstilling: Nulstiller påmindelsen om oliens levetid efter et olieskift.

5. Vedligeholdelse

5.1 Softwareopdateringer

Regularly update the device software to ensure optimal performance, access to new features, and compatibility with the latest vehicle models. Connect to Wi-Fi and navigate to the "Update" section on the main menu.

5.2 Rengøring og opbevaring

The device is equipped with a 1500mAh internal battery. To prolong battery life:

6. Fejlfinding

• Enheden tændes ikke: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the Type-C charging cable and attempt to power on again.

  • Ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the "ON" position.
