Assembly of this unit is tool-free and straightforward. Follow these steps:

2. Position Snap-on Sleeves: Determine the desired height for your first shelf. Each post has grooves at 1-inch increments. Take two halves of a plastic snap-on sleeve and snap them together around a post at the desired groove. Repeat this for all four posts at the same height. These sleeves will support the shelf.
