1. Getting Started: Unboxing and Initial Setup

Upon opening your Redmi Note 12 5G package, you will find the following items:

1.1. Isætning af SIM-kortet

The Redmi Note 12 5G supports dual Nano-SIM cards. Locate the SIM card tray on the bottom edge of the device. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray. Carefully place your Nano-SIM card(s) into the designated slots. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down. Gently push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place. This model does not support expandable storage via microSD card.

1.2. Tænd og indledende opsætning

Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side of the device) until the Redmi logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including selecting your language, connecting to Wi-Fi, and signing in to your Google account. You will also be guided through setting up security features like the side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Redmi Note 12 5G runs on MIUI 13 (upgradable to MIUI 14) based on Android 12. Navigate through the interface using gestures or the traditional navigation bar (configurable in Settings). Swipe up from the bottom to go to the home screen, swipe up and hold for recent apps, and swipe from the left or right edge to go back.

2.2. Buttons and Sensors
