The Dimplex 60 Inch Slim Built-in Linear Electric Fireplace is designed with a shallow depth, allowing for flush installation into 2-inch x 4-inch framing or wall mounting. It features Multi-Fire SL Technology for multi-layered flame effects, customizable flame colors (Yellow, Orange, Blue, Mixed), and adjustable flame speed. An acrylic crystal ember bed is included, with adjustable crystal colors. Opsætning og installation
The Dimplex Slim Electric Fireplace is designed for either built-in (flush) installation or wall-mounted installation. A wall mount installation bracket is included.
Tjekliste før installation:
- Ensure the installation location is suitable for the fireplace dimensions (60 inches wide).
- Verify power supply requirements (120V) and ensure a dedicated circuit is available if hardwiring.
- Unpack all components and check for any damage. Retain packaging for future transport or returns.
- Gather necessary tools: measuring tape, level, drill, screwdriver, wire strippers (for hardwire).
Built-in Installation (Flush Mount):
- Construct a framed opening that accommodates the fireplace dimensions. The shallow 3.75-inch depth allows it to sit flush into standard 2-inch x 4-inch framing.
- Ensure proper ventilation clearances as specified in the full installation guide (refer to manufacturer's website for detailed diagrams).
- Slide the fireplace into the framed opening. Secure it using the provided mounting screws through the designated holes on the unit's frame.
- Connect the electrical wiring. The unit can be hardwired or connected via an optional 120V plug-in cord kit. Consult a qualified electrician for hardwiring.
- Install the acrylic crystal ember bed by carefully placing the crystals into the designated tray at the bottom of the firebox.
