1. Processorinstallation
The AMD Ryzen 7 7700 processor utilizes the AM5 socket. Ensure your motherboard is compatible with the AM5 socket (e.g., B650 and X670 chipsets). Always handle the processor by its edges to avoid touching the gold contacts or the integrated heat spreader (IHS).
- Carefully open the CPU socket retention arm on your motherboard.
- Align the triangular marker on the processor with the corresponding marker on the CPU socket.
- Gently place the processor into the socket. Do not force it; it should sit flush without resistance.
- Close the retention arm to secure the processor in place.

2. Cooler Installation
