Opsætning
1. Batteriinstallation
- Find batterirummene på bagsiden af uret.
- Insert one AA battery for the clock mechanism and two LR14 (C-cell) batteries for the cuckoo mechanism, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartments.

2. Indstilling af starttidspunkt
- First, set the clock to 6:00 AM. Allow the cuckoo to chime the corresponding number of times. If it does not chime, ensure batteries are correctly installed and the room is not completely dark.
- Advance the time clockwise using the adjustment knob on the back of the clock to the current hour. The cuckoo will chime for each hour passed. For PM hours, continue advancing past 12:00 PM until the correct PM hour is reached. For example, to set 3:00 PM, advance past 12:00 PM, then 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and finally 3:00 PM.
- Once the hour is set, adjust the minute hand to the correct minute.
- If the cuckoo chimes incorrectly after setting (e.g., chimes 3 times at 2:00), use the 'SET' button (if present) on the back of the clock. Pressing this button will advance the cuckoo count forward by one hour per press until it matches the current hour.

Cuckoo Mechanism
The Karlsson Natural Cuckoo Clock features an hourly cuckoo chime. At the top of each hour, a bird sound will play, followed by the cuckoo chiming the corresponding number of times for the hour (e.g., one chime at 1:00, twelve chimes at 12:00).
The cuckoo mechanism is designed to be silent during nighttime hours (typically 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM) to prevent disturbance. This feature is automatic and relies on a light sensor; ensure the clock is in a location where it experiences natural light and darkness cycles for optimal performance.
