- Prepare Door and Check Dimensions:
Ensure your door meets the following specifications: door thickness 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" (35mm-44mm); Latch Backset 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm); Cross Bore 2-1/8" (54mm). If drilling a new door, use the supplied template and complete door drilling instructions.

- Adjust the Backset of the Latch (if needed):
Hold the latch in front of the door hole with the latch face flush against the door edge. If the latch holes are centered in the door hole, no adjustment is required. If not centered, adjust the latch by moving the pin to extend the latch.

- Install Strike Plate on Door Frame:
Install the strike plate on the door frame using the provided screws. Close the door and test the latch operation. If the latch is loose in the strike, adjust the strike tab so it grips the latch bolt better when the door is closed.
