5. Opsætning

5.1 Udpakning og placering

1. Tag printeren ud af emballagen.
2. Remove all protective tapes and packing materials from the printer.
3. Place the printer on a sturdy, level surface with adequate space for ventilation and paper handling.

5.2 Installing Toner Cartridge and Drum Unit

The PANTUM BP5100DN uses a separate toner cartridge and drum unit. Install them as follows:

1. Åbn frontlågen på printeren.
2. Carefully insert the drum unit into the printer until it clicks into place.
3. Insert the toner cartridge into the drum unit until it locks securely.

5.3 Tilslutning af printeren

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1 Ilægning af papir

The standard paper tray has a maximum input sheet capacity of 250 sheets. The multipurpose tray capacity is 60 sheets.

1. Åbn papirbakken.
2. Juster papirstyrene til den papirstørrelse, du ilægger.

Replace the toner cartridge when print quality degrades or the printer indicates low toner. Available toner cartridges and their approximate yields are:

• TL-5120H: 6,000 pages
• TL-5120X: 15,000 pages

1. Åbn frontlågen på printeren.
2. Remove the old toner cartridge from the drum unit.
3. Unpack the new toner cartridge and gently shake it horizontally a few times.
4. Insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it locks.
5. Luk frontdækslet.

7.2 Udskiftning af tromleenhed

The drum unit (DL-5120) has an approximate yield of 30,000 pages. Replace it when indicated by the printer or when print quality issues persist after toner replacement.

1. Åbn frontlågen på printeren.
2. Remove the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly from the printer.
3. Separate the toner cartridge from the old drum unit.

7.3 Rengøring af printeren

8.1 Status Indicator Meanings

The printer's status indicator provides information about its current state:

8.2 Fælles problemer

• Printeren svarer ikke: Check power connection, USB/network cable, and ensure drivers are correctly installed. Restart both printer and computer.
• Papirstop: Open covers and carefully remove any jammed paper, following the printer's internal guides. Ensure paper is loaded correctly.
