Follow these steps to set up and begin using your ANCEL BD300 scanner:
- Download ANCEL-appen: Scan the QR code provided on the product box or search for "ANCEL" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

4.1. Full System Diagnostics (BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce)
The BD300 provides comprehensive system coverage for BMW Group vehicles, allowing you to read and clear codes across various modules:

4.2. Special Functions (BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce)
The BD300 offers specific service functions for BMW Group vehicles:
- Batteriregistrering: Register a new battery of the same type and capacity to the ECU. This is crucial for proper battery management and to avoid warnings. Note: The BD300 supports battery registration but cannot change battery capacity or perform battery programming. Registration cannot be performed while the engine is running.
- EPB Reset / Brake Pad Replacement: Reset the Electronic Parking Brake system after replacing brake pads. Follow the device's instructions carefully. Mechanical handbrakes are not supported.
- Throttle Adaptation (ETC Reset): Clean the throttle and perform adaptation to resolve idling issues or uneven acceleration. Ensure the engine is warmed up and the ignition is ON (do not start engine) during the process. Avoid pressing the accelerator.
- Oil Reset / Maintenance Reset: Reset the oil service light or maintenance reminder after an oil change or scheduled service. For F/G/U chassis vehicles, this must be performed in diagnostic mode.
- CBS Reset: Reset Condition Based Service items such as engine oil, diesel particulate filter, front/rear brake lining, vehicle inspection, spark plug, brake fluid, and emission inspection.

5.2. Almen pleje

6. Fejlfinding

- Fault code cannot be cleared: A fault code can only be cleared after the vehicle's malfunction has been repaired. Ensure the underlying issue is fixed before attempting to clear the code.
- Battery Registration Issues: Only a new battery with the same specifications as the original battery can be registered. Battery registration cannot be performed when the engine is running. If issues persist, contact technical support.
- Device not working on vehicle: The BD300 supports BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce vehicles from 1976 to 2022, and global OBDI/OBDII/EOBD vehicles (1998+).
