1. Introduktion

The PETZL Tikka Core Headlamp is a compact, rechargeable, and easy-to-use lighting solution designed for various outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and general use. It provides uniform and comfortable lighting with multiple modes, including white and red lighting, and features a HYBRID CONCEPT design for versatile power options.

2. Opsætning

2.1. Batteriinstallation

The Tikka Core Headlamp utilizes a HYBRID CONCEPT design, allowing it to operate with either the included CORE rechargeable battery or three AAA/LR03 batteries (not included). The headlamp automatically detects the energy source and adjusts lighting performance accordingly.

1. To open the battery compartment, locate the latch on the side of the headlamp enhed.
2. Gently pry open the compartment cover.
3. Insert the CORE rechargeable battery or three AAA/LR03 batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the compartment cover firmly until it clicks into place, ensuring a secure seal for water resistance.

2.2. Justering af hovedbøjle

The headband is detachable and washable, designed for easy adjustment to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

1. Placer hovedetamp på dit hoved.
2. Adjust the length of the elastic headband using the buckles on each side until it fits snugly without being too tight. The symmetrical design allows for easy adjustment.
3. Lamp unit can be tilted to orient the light in the desired direction.

3. Betjeningsvejledning

The Tikka Core Headlamp har en enkelt knap til alle operationer.

3.1. Power On/Off and White Lighting Modes

1. Sådan tænder du: Press the single button once. The lamp will turn on in the last used white lighting mode.
2. To cycle through white lighting levels: Mens lamp is on, press the button repeatedly to switch between MAX BURN TIME, STANDARD, and MAX POWER modes.

3.2. Red Lighting Modes

Red lighting is useful for preserving night vision and signaling.

1. To activate continuous red lighting: From the OFF state, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds until the red light illuminates.
2. To activate red strobe: While in continuous red lighting mode, press the button once.
3. To switch back to white lighting or turn off: Press the button once to return to continuous red, then press and hold to turn off, or press twice quickly to switch to white light.

3.3. Låsefunktion

The LOCK function prevents accidental activation during transit or storage.

• At låse: From the OFF state, press and hold the button for 4 seconds. The lamp will flash red to indicate it is locked.

3.4. Phosphorescent Reflector

Overskriftenamp features an integrated phosphorescent reflector that glows in the dark, making it easier to locate the lamp when it's off in low-light conditions.

The included storage pouch can be used to transform the headlamp into a lantern, providing diffused ambient light.

• Placer hovedetamp inside the storage pouch with the light facing inwards.
• Tighten the drawstring of the pouch to secure the headlamp.
• Tænd for hovedetamp to illuminate the pouch, creating a soft, diffused light.

4. Vedligeholdelse

4.1. Rensning

• The headband is detachable and washable. Remove it from the headlamp unit and wash it by hand with mild soap and water. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching.

4.2. Batteripleje og opladning

• CORE genopladeligt batteri: The CORE battery (1250 mAh) can be recharged via the micro USB port. Charging time is approximately 3 hours. A battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time the lamp er tændt eller slukket.
• AAA/LR03 Batteries: If using disposable AAA batteries, replace them when the light output diminishes significantly. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Opbevar hovedlamp with batteries removed if it will not be used for an extended period to prevent potential leakage.

5. Fejlfinding

5.1. Lamp Tænder ikke

• Check if the battery is correctly installed and fully charged (if using CORE) or fresh (if using AAA).
• Sørg for at lamp is not in LOCK mode. Press and hold the button for 4 seconds to unlock.
• Kontroller, at batterirummets dæksel er forsvarligt lukket.

5.2. Dim or Flickering Light

• The battery may be low. Recharge the CORE battery or replace AAA batteries.
• Sørg for, at batterikontakterne er rene og fri for korrosion.

5.3. Difficulty Opening Battery Compartment

• Apply firm, even pressure to the latch while gently prying the cover open. Avoid using sharp objects that could damage the seal or plastic.
