3.2 Connecting to a Smart TV via HDMI ARC

1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC port on your Smart TV.

2. Connect the other end of the Optical (Toslink) cable to the OPTISK IN port on the SWM16-MAX mixer.
3. Connect a second Optical (Toslink) cable from the OPTISK UD port on the SWM16-MAX to the Optical input on your soundbar or receiver.
4. Adjust your TV settings to change the audio format to PCM.

3.4 Connecting an HDMI Device to SWM16-MAX to TV

1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) from your PC, laptop, or media streaming device to the HDMI-IN port on the SWM16-MAX.
2. Connect another HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the SWM16-MAX to an HDMI input on your TV.
3. Connect the included AUX cable from the AUX UD port on the SWM16-MAX to the AUX input on your soundbar or receiver.
4. Select the correct input channel on your TV and change the input channel on your AUX input device to AUX.

3.5 Important TV Audio Settings

For certain TV models (specifically Samsung & LG), you may need to adjust your TV sound settings for proper audio output. Please follow these instructions:

1. Turn on the CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) settings on your TV. This is often labeled as Anynet+ (Samsung) or SimpLink (LG).
2. Change the audio formats on your TV to PCM (Pulse-code modulation) for both HDMI Input Audio Format and Digital Output Audio Format.

4.1 Tænd/sluk

1. Plug the power adapter into the SWM16-MAX mixer and a power outlet.
2. Tryk på MAGT button on the mixer to turn it on. The power indicator light will illuminate.
3. For each wireless microphone, press and hold the power button until the display illuminates. The RF1/RF2 lights on the mixer will turn green when the microphones are successfully connected.

• EKKO: Adjusts the echo effect for the microphones. Turn clockwise for more echo, counter-clockwise for less.

• No Sound/Low Microphone Volume:
  1. Ensure all cables are securely connected to the correct ports.
  2. Verify that your TV's audio output is set to PCM and CEC is enabled (if using HDMI ARC).
  3. Increase the volume on your TV, soundbar, or receiver first.
  4. On the SWM16-MAX mixer, set the microphone volume knobs (W/MIC A, W/MIC B+C) to a low-to-mid level and gradually raise them to the desired level (20–30% initially).
  5. Check the battery levels of the wireless microphones.

  1. Ensure the mixer is powered on and the microphones have fresh batteries.
  2. Turn on the microphones. The RF lights (RF1, RF2) on the mixer should turn green when connected.
  3. If a microphone fails to pair, try turning both the mixer and the microphone off and then on again.

  1. Reduce the microphone volume on the mixer.
  2. Adjust the position of the microphones relative to your speakers to minimize feedback.
