- Press and hold the power button on the otoscope to turn it on. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- On your smartphone or tablet, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named 'Softish-XXXXX' (the XXXXX will be unique to your device).
Step 3: Start Using
- Open the 'Endscopetool' app on your device.
- Click the 'Start' button within the app to begin viewing the live feed from the otoscope camera.

Once connected, you can begin your examination:
- Gently insert the otoscope probe into the ear canal, ensuring it fits comfortably at the edge of the canal.
- Carefully inspect the inner wall of the ear canal and the eardrum for any abnormalities. The optimal focal distance for the camera is 1.5 to 2 cm.
