- Use the provided mounting material (screws and plugs) to secure the mounting plate to the ceiling.
- Attach the smoke detector to the mounting plate by twisting it clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Activate the device by pressing the test button for a few seconds until the smoke alarm emits a signal. This confirms activation and the start of the 10-year battery life.

Operation

It is recommended to test the smoke detector's functions once a month by pressing the test button. During the test, the sound is attenuated (70dB) to protect your ears. To hear the full 85dB alarm sound, hold the test button longer.

- In the event of smoke detection, the alarm will sound at 85dB.
