Opsætning
Follow these steps for proper setup of your Hulkman Sigma 5 battery charger:
- Connect Charger to Battery Terminals: Choose between the alligator clamps or eyelet connectors based on your battery's terminals. Ensure a secure connection to the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
- Connect to External AC Source: Plug the charger's power cord into a standard 100-240V AC wall socket. The unit will power on and display the current battery voltage.

Battery Maintenance and Repair

Repair and Loading Modes:
- Reparationstilstand: This mode can be activated for 12V batteries that are sulfated or showing signs of damage. It uses pulse charging to help restore the battery's capacity.
- Loading Mode: For deeply discharged 12V lead-acid batteries (0.3V to 2V), this mode initiates a force charge to bring the voltage up to a level where normal charging can resume.

Fejlfinding
The Sigma 5 is equipped with smart safety alerts to help diagnose and prevent common issues.

- Temperaturalarm: An alert indicating high temperature means the internal temperature of the charger is too high. Disconnect the charger and allow it to cool down in a well-ventilated area.
- Voltage advarsel: Hvis voltage of the connected battery is too high for the selected mode, the charger will display an alert. Ensure the correct voltage mode (6V or 12V) is selected for your battery.
